Message for high school students

My goal is to develop the School of Interdisciplinary Science and Innovation’s students into leaders of society who will play an active role in the global community. Today’s society requires individuals capable of understanding diverse ways of thinking and other cultures, and of progressing steadily toward their goals. Accordingly, along with the other School of Interdisciplinary Science and Innovation faculty members and various other stakeholders, I hope to contribute to producing individuals of this kind.

My areas of specialism are fish and environmental problems, but my experience encompasses not only research and development, but also international exchange, planning, and international sales at both universities and private sector companies. I look forward to sharing my academic knowledge and experience of society with the students of the School of Interdisciplinary Science and Innovation, and to thinking about the future with you all.
