Message for high school students

Think of what you want to achieve right now as a mountain. Everyone advises you to use the ready-made path to get to the summit. It looks like that will be the quickest way. But the School of Interdisciplinary Science and Innovation aims for something a bit different: we suggest that you try following the mountain stream, so you can get to know that mountain more intimately. After all, even if the stream disappears, you can follow the tracks left by animals and fight your way through the bushes. When, exhausted, you finally reach the summit, you find even higher mountains, which you couldn’t see before, coming into view. There’s no ready-made path up those mountains. But that’s okay. You now have the power to climb the mountains you’ve chosen for yourself.

The School of Interdisciplinary Science and Innovation hopes to be the first mountain you ascend in a lifetime of climbing.
