Message for high school students
The School of Interdisciplinary Science and Innovation envisages a style of learning in which each and every student shares their knowledge and skills with each other while developing them further to create practical solutions to problems faced by society. Rather than mere knowledge of science and technology, students aiming to approach research from the perspective of science and technology with a view to solving problems will likely need to acquire a wide-ranging, high-level knowledge system with links between a variety of scientific and technological fields, as well as gaining practical skills that can be applied to a range of social problems. The School of Interdisciplinary Science and Innovation’s science and mathematics curriculum is designed to offer subjects that emphasize comprehensive, practical perspectives on problems, so that students learn how to identify (express), analyze, and address issues.
