Orientation for Exchange students for April 2024 held by School of Interdisciplinary Science and Innovation (ISI) Apr.17,2024
On the fourth of April 2024, amidst cherry blossoms in full bloom, the School of Interdisciplinary Science and Innovation (ISI) held the “Orientation for Exchange students for April 2024”, welcoming 15 international exchange students. Approximately 50 faculty staff and student supporters were present at the event.
Associate Professor Xiaoyan Li, in charge of international exchange students, moderated the orientation, which began with a welcome speech, followed by an introduction to the ISI, an explanation of procedures for taking classes and other necessary information for their new lives here. The exchange students introduced themselves to each other, their academic advisors and student supporters of the ISI, which made the atmosphere relaxed and many smiles were seen. The students seemed excited about their new lives.
Six years have passed since the ISI was established in April 2018. We welcomed numerous exchange students from partner universities abroad each year. We will continue to provide learning opportunities where students from diverse backgrounds can develop a global mindset.
