Message for high school students

I’m sure some high school students dislike mathematics or think they’re no good at it. To tell you the truth, mathematics wasn’t my cup of tea either. However, the fact is that a variety of things in our daily lives are expressed in numbers (such as video and audio on our smartphones) and once I realized that using mathematics would allow me to engage with them more deeply, I began to feel a lot more comfortable with the subject (for example, did you know that you can express a single image as a vector?!) It’s the same with people’s movements and preferences. Whether you lean more to the humanities or science, why not give high school mathematics a try so you can enjoy aspects like this?
