Spring 2026 - Orientation for New ISI Exchange Students Apr.10,2026

On Monday, April 6, 2026, with cherry blossoms in full bloom, the School of ISI welcomed 14 exchange students and held the “Spring 2026 New Exchange Student Orientation.” Approximately 20 faculty members, staff, and student supporters attended, warmly greeting the new arrivals.

The orientation began under the facilitation of Associate Professor Xiaoyan Li, who is in charge of international students. Following a welcome address from the Dean, Professor Araya, participants were introduced to the School of ISI, along with important information such as course registration procedures and other essentials for their upcoming study experience.

The program also included self-introductions by the international students, as well as introductions of their academic advisors and student supporters. The atmosphere gradually became relaxed and friendly, with smiles spreading throughout the room. The students appeared excited and full of anticipation for their new academic life.

In the evening, a welcome party for new students was held at the campus cafeteria “Big Dora,” where international and Japanese students enjoyed interacting with one another, creating a lively and friendly environment for building connections.
