ISI Student Pay a Courtesy Call on the Governor of Fukuoka Prefecture! (Recipients of the Fuji Scout Badge and Kiku Scout Badge for AY 2025) Apr.13,2026

Koushiro Okuma, a student at ISI, visited the Fukuoka Prefectural Government Office on Monday, March 16, 2026, to pay a courtesy call on the Governor of Fukuoka Prefecture.

This visit was organized for recipients of the “Fuji Scout Badge” and the “Kiku Scout Badge,” two of the highest honors in the Boy Scouts. Mr. Okuma participated as a recipient of the “Fuji Scout Badge” in recognition of his achievements and received words of encouragement from the Governor of Fukuoka Prefecture.
 
*Fuji Scout Badge: This badge indicates the level of achievement in the progression program for the Boy Scouts and Venture Scouts divisions (for members aged 14 to 18, starting in September of the third year of junior high school). There are six levels ranging from the Junior Scout Badge to the Fuji Scout Badge, with the Fuji Scout Badge representing the highest level.

In addition, prior to enrolling in this faculty, on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, Ms. Okuma participated in a courtesy visit by the representative scouts awarded the 2024 Fuji Scout Badge, held at the Akasaka East Residence, where she had the honor of being received by His Imperial Highness Prince Akishino, Crown Prince.
