Fall 2026: School of ISI Holds Autumn Entrance Ceremony, Orientation, and Welcome Party for New International Students Oct.5,2026

On Friday, October 2, 2026, under clear autumn skies, the School of ISI held its fall entrance ceremony, welcoming seven new international students. During the ceremony, Dean ARAYA delivered a warm and encouraging message to the students as they embarked on a new chapter in their academic journeys.

Following the ceremony, ISI held an orientation session for new international students, including exchange students. Seventeen exchange students also attended, bringing the total number of participants, including faculty and staff, to approximately 60. The session provided essential information for students preparing for their studies at ISI, including an introduction to the school and guidance on course registration procedures.

Later that afternoon, a welcome party for new international students was held at COOP Big Dining on campus. The event was organized by members of The ISI Student Net(ISISN), the ISI Student Internationalization Promotion Team (IsiCON), and the ISI Student PR Team.

Students from all four undergraduate years gathered for the party and enjoyed interacting with one another across year groups and nationalities. Thanks to the student organizers' creative hosting and engaging games, the atmosphere, which was initially somewhat formal, gradually warmed up, with smiles and cheers filling the room as the party became increasingly lively.

These events provided valuable opportunities for the new international students to take their first steps as members of the ISI community and build connections with fellow students.
