ISI online short-term program “Bringing Bioengineering to Bear” Mar.16,2022

The ISI Online Short-Term Study Abroad Program "Bringing Bioengineering to Bear" was conducted in ten sessions from February 10 (Thursday) to March 4 (Friday), 2022. The program was organized by Prof. Johan Lauwereyns (Vice Dean of the School of Interdisciplinary Science and Innovation) in collaboration with the King Mongkut's University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT).

The purpose of this program was to explore perspectives from the social sciences (including economics, politics, cognitive and behavioral sciences, ethics, and cultural studies) on the development and implementation of new tools and systems in bioengineering, from bio-inspired intelligent systems to tissue engineering. The program consisted of 30 hours of study hours, 20 of which were live classes connected with KMUTT.

12 students from the School of Interdisciplinary Science and Innovation participated in the program and successfully completed it, gaining fruitful learning opportunities.
