Signing Ceremony of Memorandum of Understanding with JICA Dominican Republic Office for Overseas Internship Aug.10,2023
On Thursday, August 10, 2023, a signing ceremony for memorandum of understanding with JICA Dominican Republic Office for overseas internship was held online.
Nine people from Kyushu University, including Dean, Prof. Masahiko Kaburagi, Associate Professor IkJoon Kang, Director Kota Sakaguchi and Deputy Director Kenta Sasaki from the JICA Dominican Republic Office, and other related personnel from both parties participated in the ceremony.
Director Sakaguchi mentioned that it would be very meaningful for students to intern in the Dominican Republic, a country full of stimulation during their university years, and that he was looking forward to welcoming ISI students as interns. In response, Dean Kaburagi expressed his gratitude for providing an attractive internship site for ISI students.
This is the second internship program at a JICA overseas office for School of Interdisciplinary Science and Innovation, following the one in Paraguay.
